Keeping the main thing...the main thing.

A lot of times in ministry we can get lost in what we DO, and forget about WHY we're doing it. While away on a trip to Ohio (sooo cold), God got a hold of me and taught me a valuable lesson. "Keep the main thing, the main thing." The gospel of Jesus coming to save us and give us an abundant life is the MAIN THING. There are times I get lost in making media look impressive or cool...and forget the reason I do this in the first place.
Every once in a while God has to smack me upside the head and remind me that ministry can be done without him.....but effective and impacting ministry can only be done with him! If the main thing gets lost, than what are we doing?!
