New Website - New Video

We've been hard at work trying to get all the content ready to go live with our new 4120Design website. It took us some time to fill in all the descriptions and get testimonials from our clients, but we finally got it finished.

Take some time to look around the site. Check out the "Our Work" section to see some nice examples of our websites, video projects and print materials. To see what we can offer you or someone you know, go to the "Services" section. We've tried to list as many services that we can think of, but if you don't see something you want just contact us about it.

Also, if you get an extra free moment after checking out the design site, please take a look at our new video "Tell Your Story". It's a great testimonial driven mini-movie that will inspire others to tell their own stories.

New Christmas Content

Well...better late than never! What would the Christmas season be like without late FortyOneTwenty videos? We have just recently added 2 new mini-movies to the site:

Christmas List
With all the presents and shopping, your list might be getting pretty long. This Christmas...don't forget to add what's most important!

Born A Savior
The miracle of Christmas is not the birth of a baby, but the birth of one who would save humanity from sin and death. The true miracle is the birth of a Savior!

More motions and stills will be posted soon, but don't forget to check our Christmas content from last year...there's some good stuff available.

Production Photos

If you haven't already seen our newest mini-movie "In Between", take some time to check it out. Here's what it's about:

What comes between you and God? Have you ever asked Him to show you? This powerful video shows us some of the things that distract us from having a full relationship with God.

Rooted: Productions Photos

We've just finished production on a new mini-movie called "Rooted". It's shot and edited, we just need to get it online. We're hoping to get it up this week. If you have a couple of extra minutes in your day, check out our production shots HERE.

By the way...we just purchased a new 35mm adapter for our camera! This will allow us to use SLR lenses on our video camera...why should you care? Well, this will increase the quality of footage we can capture, and make everything look more like film. You might notice the difference in the "Rooted" mini-movie...and then again, you might not.

Spring Media Coming Soon

We spent some time last week at the flower fields in Carlsbad, Ca. shooting both motions and stills. We are working hard to get these out this week so that you can have some worship media for the spring season. To see some pics of the shoot click HERE.

Also, we're coming out with 4 new mini-movies...hopefully all together with the motions and stills.

FortyOneTwenty On Flickr

Yes...FortyOneTwenty has ventured out beyond this blog to bring you pics of all the goings-on around here. For our first go at it...we just finished pre and post production on a new mini-movie called "Through The Storm". I think we uploaded like 20+ images. This was a fun shoot because we had the challenging task of making it rain and making it really look like rain. I think it worked out pretty good. So if you get some time, take a look.

Where's The Ending?

Here at FortyOneTwenty we create some of our mini-movies with open endings. That means there is no solid ending in terms of answering questions or concepts that are brought up throughout the video. Lately we have seen some comments on how not answering the tough questions brought up in our video "Anything But Silent" could be harmful to the viewers. Assuming that they watch this on their own...maybe. Now, of coarse we don't want that to happen, but we made some of our media this way for a reason. We believe it's the Pastor's job to get up every Sunday and help his congregation work through tough ideas and questions. We just want to help raise those questions and thoughts in a cool way.

Here are my questions for you:

Do you think you or your pastor would be deterred from using an open ended video?

Should church media help raise these questions and issues, or should we all just keep making Mother's Day type videos that make everyone feel warm and comfortable?

I'd love to hear what you think...

Coming Soon!

We are currently in production on a collection of 7 mini-movies that follow a series called "7 Sayings On The Cross". We are set to film the 6th film this week, and hope to come out with the full series in a little under one month. We hope this will be a great set of videos to use as a build up to Easter.

Also, we are working on updating some things on our website. If you have any suggestions or comments about things you would like to see changed or updated, please contact us at: support@fortyonetwenty.com

Enthroned

If you have some time, check out our new mini-movie entitled "Enthroned". It's a great visual depiction of clearing out our souls in order to make room for God to take center stage.

As always, we hope this will be another great tool for you and your ministry.
